/snowball back in the game?

Howdy!

A friend of mine used the /snowball emote just now, and I thought he may have used /em to manually type it, but I just tried it myself and it works! The actual snowball-hitting doesn't happen, but you do make the throwing motion. Is this supposed to work, or (more likely) is it something that accidentally slipped through the cracks during the patch?
