I know YoshiP does walk around in his server from time to time to interact with the players but do any of the developers ever visit other servers?

Doubt it. They are probably scared of receiving development requests, lol.
They probably do on their private accounts. Provided they aren't heartily sick of the game from working on it. I don't think I've heard of anyone but Yoshi-P advertising it though. Well. Except Yoko Taro now that he's collaborating. The man's been tweeting his adventures in Eorzea for awhile.
Edit:
Found his tweet about Qarn.

Yoshi-p doesn't speak English right? And I'm pretty sure most of the dev team don't either, so I can't see them playing anything NA side, at least not in the "I'm here, AMA" capacity that he does on the JP servers
What i wonder, dont you need english for software stuff and coding...?
You do and Yoshi and his team know enough to do their jobs but that doesn't mean they comfortable with speaking in English.
From what I saw Yoshi understands English quite well but he is not very good with talking.
Pretty sure they paid visits to the western data centers with their incognito accounts in the past.
Hmm still, especially yoshi while busy id learn enough to talk, it would annoy the hell outta me if i cant talk to like 3/4 the ppl...^^
I’ve known some to play. They’re encouraged to do so, so they can experience the end result.
However, Japanese work culture doesn’t leave a lot of room for pleasure time.

Speaking english and beign comfortable with it is also a generation thing for the Japanese. After WWII it wasn't seen in a good light because of how the relationship between America and Japan was at the time, but over time younger generations started to speak it to show how cool they were. I mean look at Foxicon he tries to use it as much as he can and he has been increasing that use with every NA/EU event they do. While Yoshida I'm sure could converse fairly well in English he's less comfortable when using it. If they have done low profile visits on the NA/EU they've done it so they don't get swarmed because that's what happens any time they visit the jp ones. Along with the nude male roes who show up in huge numbers.
Actual programming uses roman letters, but code is pretty much its own language and you have to learn it from scratch even if English is your native language. Comments in code can be in any language.
For project management, business analysis, systems design - all the stuff that isn't the programming part - you can do that in any language.
