Often times multiple players will end up trying to raise the same person. Whoever doesn’t cast first just ends up wasting mp. To ear things, why not auto cancel the ability to raise if it has already been granted a revive?

I think this just comes down to player skill. To be able to see if someone else is raising them already. If you miss it, you take your penalty as a chunk of MP.
That being said, it dies re-start the KOed players timer. So it’s not as if you’ve done nothing.

Still that should be changed as usually its when the fight is a mess and ppl cant just wait IF someone else does it... ofc on savage ppl would comunicate but on random...? i had enough wipes cause a Smn or rdm didnt wanna ress or wasted their mp too much on double ress - at least ad a 5-10 sec "cant be ressed" buff, its not that much to ask i guess....
Agree wholeheartedly with you. 100% a great idea. Please listen se. Raises are cancelled in ffxi like this , they should be here as well.
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
Just pay attention on who is raising who, try giving other players a small window (few seconds) to do it first if necessary before you attempt it yourself. Pretty easy to avoid the majority of overlapping in all fairness.
swiftcast makes it impossible to know if someone else is raising at the same time as you.
doesnt work when rdms in group lol since before their rez is alot faster than is reasonable lol
That's why if necessary you give a few seconds window so you can see if anyone else is going to do the rezzing first, this is not rocket science. Don't make the same old RDMs excuse, use common sense.
