Competing with bots...

Hello guys,

This is not a post to complain about bots that spam click on placard. I just want to know if there is any way i could make my clicking faster. By that i mean either setting macros on my mouse razer naga or any little bit that could make it faster for me to click on it. I have lost already three houses to bots. I know it might not make a difference. Just looking to find something that might make my life easier.

Usually they will be AFK and they will stay much longer after the property has been sold. Their character will click on placard attempt to buy and then look away.

There is a script that's an open secret people can download and run that automates the clicking process.

I had a friend use it to get his house because a lalafel we were both competing with earlier admitted to using it for over 20 hours.
I will not name and shame them, but they shared me the code and said how stupidly easy it was.
TBH if you know BASIC, you can reprogram the code so that not even FF could tell you were using it to buy the house.

Pretty sure setting up macros on your mouse is also not allowed, regardless of how undetectable that would be.

So basically at this point with the housing system you are either spending up to 30 plus hours glued to your PC clicking on a sign while peeing in a bottle and pooping in a sock. All the while sleep deprived.

That or luck out after emergency maintenance and find one that's open. Or be on a low population server.

Technically? Yes it wouldn't be allowed by just about every standard of the game. That's why I don't use it, as tempted as I am. It was just something a friend of mine showed me and used themselves to buy their house. It's what I've seen others do.

The script is so simplistic and just requires a tweek of code and it will suddenly look much more human-like in behavior to the point where automated systems could not pick it up.

I just think it's stupid with how easy they made it to game the system. Worse yet, it feels almost required unless you want to sit at a computer for up to 22 hours (I've heard anyways.)

Name a way someone can currently get a house on a populated server without waiting for up to 22 hours competing with random people for the entire duration, including that one that walks in and takes it because you had to go to the bathroom.

Bruh you should see how many houses go up for sale on servers like balmung, cactuar, gilgamesh, etc everyday throughout the day. Houses moving in and out all week for the right price.
