We Have Enough Short Skinny Characters

Nobody is asking for skinny short Hrothgar.

Someone is asking for a slider--in order to have something more, not less, not limited- option to make Hrothgar less tall or bulky.

We shouldn't even say Hrot are tall or bulky, they are giant!

Between the males we have:
- Lalafell, warves height and potato build;
- Miqo'te, short but fit;
- Midlander, average height and body;
- Highlander: tall and muscly;
- Elezen: giant but thin (could consider them skinny)
- Roegadyn: giant and hulk build (could consider them bulky)
- Hrothgar: giant and beastly.

If they give character creation a pair of deeper sliders like height and weight it wouldn't take anything from you but it will give everyone more.

That said it's not going to happen and you could've answered in that same thread.

i feel like you're the only one who understood despite my english still developing, thank you, i never said i want hrothgar to be skinny or short just wanted an option to make all players enjoy this new race by putting the option to make them as short and tall as we pleases, since it's the last race we will ever get.

I could go for this with female charactors as well. distinct lack of hips and thunder thighs and it disturbs me.

Ok...do the majority of you own mirrors? You all literally run around as short skin and bone pale as ghost avatars already. Nobody in the Roegadyn camp or the Hrothgar camp is calling for Fat Miqs or taller Lalas so...what gives?

Are we simply just not allowed to have big characters? Does everybody in this game have to fit to the typical generic stereotypical anime status quo of skinny, white, medium to small height, and have absolutely 0 imperfections including but not limited to muscles and fat?

The issue that I have with this mindset is that everyone just lacks imagination. Do we really want another Au Ra situation again? Au Ra's were the biggest letdowns due to fact that they are simply just Miqs with scales and pointy tales.

And I know what the purists are gonna say "well gameplay speaking giants obstruct blah blah blah" well you know what you got a freeform camera with a zoom in zoom out feature so how bout you actually use it for once instead of being zoomed in on your Miqs bottom like you are 95% of the time.

Let people who want giant races HAVE GIANT RACES. Dont just barge in on my and many others parades and be all like "Oh their to fat the muscles are ugly they to tall" cause quite frankly if we wanna play that game I can say the same thing to all the other races like the title of my post states.

This is prejudice against short races. You REALLLY reached hard on this one elitist player. The only short males we have is the cat boy. Everyone is tall average height or a midget. Also, a human with cat ears IS not the same as a slim and trim lion guy like from ff10. No one is asking to remove the obesed beauty and the beast reject, they are asking for more variety and in an mmo that is never a bad thing.

It seems like you're the one being prejudice now. No need to be rude and insult other races just because they don't fit your liking.

More options are always good but this request for a different body type for the same race is not likely to happen. It's also costly and time consuming, which is currently not something the devs can afford. Not to mention that if a different body type came out for Hrothgar before male viera were added, I can guarantee there'd be a bloodbath all over the forums and reddit. So while the idea is nice, it's not currently within the realm of reality.

Technically the beast tribes are "normal people" they are just called beast tribes because they arent profitable by the syndicate. This is canon. So technically FF14 has a bunch of competant beast races. I just dont see people lining up to be ixal etc etc.

This plays into why they had to address children like classes, we all *knew* they didn't just mean seeing children in pain or agaony, they simply don't want to have children like models being sexually used. That being said, tiny little, pale, flat chested characters are just the closest to a pre pubescent child as you can get in this game, funny enough it's also the highest amount of character in this game. Its speaks volumes of the community that needed a letter from the developer to address the refusal to add children races for certain aspects.
It also speaks volumes of the community that runs around in a bikini basically on a 10 year olds body.
