SE will never beat the bots, the problem is overly repetitive and boring content (which is actually lack of content) that people feel the need to bot.Bit silly tho still, cuse you can get around it.
Move window so you can see your guy, hot key crafting button on ur gamepad (xpadder), then watch a movie or something with ur turbo on and when he goes up from interruption, u just hit ur recraft hotkey, char crafts again.
Wasted + Pointless work SE have done, will just annoy people who dont bot/turbo.

not entirely true. it may be a reason some people bot, but most that bot do so just so they have an advantage over others and don't have to put in the effort to. it's like an aim bot in a fps game to me. even if the game is fun some people don't like playing on an even playing field. they get more enjoyment out of cheating than caring about others.

I doubt it'll be as short as 5-10 synths. I would guess about 50.
And it's obvious this is meant to deter people from "taping" down a turbo button and going to sleep/work all day, and not actual bots.
Just ban the botters and be done with it. Can't stand them.
catching them is the problem
id be seriously curious if they are adding other hidden protocols with this
such as something that detects enter spamming when NOT in synth stance(which would of course happen when people got interupted and their controls/programs are still running) to detect who is using them

You can't trust an automized system to ban people, there will ALWAYS be exceptions and you cannot underestimate the dedication some people have... You could go and say that everyone with a Luminary is a botter but I know for certain there are people that do 7-8 hour crafting sessions themselves, at the computer the entire time.
Hell I've fished for more than 6 hours straight once. It can happen.

What is this presumptuous garbage you puked all over me?

I don't think it was presumptuos at all. I was just talking about automated bans in general, as they tend to never really work out perfectly.
I'm in agreement with the people that say they should just hire more GMs, but I doubt that's very high on their list of priorities right now.
I didn't say anything about Luminary tools. I didn't say or imply people who have them are x y and z. I didn't say or not say people craft for several hours a day.I don't think it was presumptuos at all. Sorry pal, it was presumptuous in just about every way, formulating my conclusion with a bunch of crap I didn't say or imply in even the slightest way. yet somehow you came up with all that tripe from my two - very short - sentences.
Right.

Not going to ban someone for spamming enter because they aren't crafting. That's OLD SE salvage dupe ban strategy! They had some kind of flag system in FFXI for speed hacks but people still got away with rampant flee hacking and walking through walls in sea/sky/wherever all the time.
