    Suggestion: Alleviating Housing Woes

After 15 hours and near-constant clicking on placards in the hopes to own a small home on my home server, all I have to show for it is my flaring carpal tunnel and deep disappointment. What I find the most awful is that much of that time was spent skipping meals and in-game activities because I had no way of knowing when the timer would pop and someone would be allowed to buy the house. The two houses today I waited at was not my first. Several others for the last two weeks have also slipped out of my grasp. After thinking about my experiences and looking through the forum some to find a solution I agreed with, the conclusion I came to was to make the invisible timer visible.

While the house is locked, having it listed as "transferable" as others have suggested makes a lot of sense to me. With that, I believe that the devaluation timer is all but useless since these houses are crowded with people hardly worried about if the house will become cheaper. instead of this timer, under the "TRANSFERABLE" tag, it should say "buyable in: xx:xx:xx" when you click the placard. This alone would alleviate the time that people spend dangerously not caring for themselves or their other responsibilities, and prevents nights like I just had where 15 hours of waiting grants no reward.

A lotto system would be questionable to get past countries where gambling is illegal. They might see it as gambling and block the game from their country. That's why a lot of stuff in the gold saucer has to be carefully thought.

While I agree the housing system needs a rework, I have a discord that tracks the open plots and calls out the best times to try. A lot of people were able to get housing just trying 1-2 hours but at the right time. The system has issues, but we might be able to help you through it?
