Why not add a Player Recruitment / Services tab to Party Finder?

Especially during prime raid time when people are lfg, or lfm. I see people using duty roulette filter for recruiting for their FC, or events, or just something social. Gatherers, crafters, people offering services in game don't have a tab either.

If everyone is sick of seeing players advertisements in their PF, why not just add a specialized tab for it? Then the people who want to look can look while others can ignore it.

I think "lootmaster - order of joining" parties are a scam, so I simply filter out lootmaster and get on with my life. I think this kind of thing would work nicely for player adverts.

Just as a note - I like seeing player services/socials/FC/raid recruiting, makes the world feel alive. But, I understand others don't so let's fix it.

Yes "Lootmaster - odrer of joining" party is a scam. The player who win the loot always leaves, even if the group looks nice... In other word: Pls PL me.

You know, I’ve been playing for nearly 4 years now and I never knew that filter existed lol always learning something new.

On a side note yes I wish this would happen I get a bit tired of seeing the expert roulette listing being abused for clear selling/static recruiting so they get put at the top of the list and would be great if it was a separate category, the only question would be if it would actually get used.

I think it would be, I've always wondered why there wasn't a tab for raids or FC's recruiting.

Advertisers wouldn't use it because they know people will uncheck it.

However with adding it, SE could make it an offence to not use it if you're advertising a free company/discord/whatever. That way, people get reported for it, and GMs can issue strikes. If GMs actually follow through with it and word gets around, they WILL start doing it.

As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.

Is it not an offense now since you're misusing the system?

I would prefer to see some kind of FC board (similar to the MB) that can be used to advertise/recruit for members. Only players with a certain rank in their FC could do it, perhaps give it a little charge to use it as well; afterall more gil sinks in the game would be useful. Could extend the board to advertise Linkshells as well, but FC stuff seems to be the main thing.

That's a fun idea! Could have one in each GC's area in the starting city. After all, one officer is already going there regularily to purchase FC actions (and maybe "rent" space in the board with credits, as well).

Imo that becomes disruption/trolling at that point, the people who would actually want to see advertising wouldn’t hid it so by it not being utilized it becomes disruptive
