Please let us set the time of day/window light in our estates.

The imitation windows are really awesome items, and they can add so much to an estate’s design. However, because of how time passes in game they don’t always look their best and sometimes my guests don’t get to have the full intended experience.

Since we can adjust the interior lighting of our estates, I would love to be able to set the exterior lighting as well—either by setting it to always be a particular time of day, or having a setting similar to the indoor lighting settings to control the light coming from all windows and imitation windows.

Another option would be making windows and imitation windows interactable and allowing us to set each individual window’s lighting level.

It would also be cool if there were a way to slow the passage of time or synchronize it to a real world time zone.

I guess they wanted to make windows act like real windows, which makes more sense. I think it would be nice if they had a moonlight glow at night. Purplish or blue tint of moonlight.

OP, I agree. We should be able to set the lighting. But since they're only supposed to be placed on walls, I doubt they're going to let us.

It would be much easier for them to give us a toggle that simply turns off its ability to display daytime lighting.

Because I often put partitions and such up against windows (honestly I wish we could have an option to remove them entirely too), I have sunlight clipping through them during the day and not only does it took terrible, it ruins the effect I try to evoke. I would love to be able to turn that off and on the imitation windows too, especially since (and I'm sure I'm not speaking for myself here) people often use them as objects other than windows (i.e. doors)
