Game crashes when trying to log into a specific character

Last night I died while questing and I didn't log back on till tonight and now I can't log in to this specific character.

Any idea's?

The same error seems to happen when I try to change a character's appearance.

Does this only happen with one character ? Were any changes or updates made to the PC? Also what have you tried so far to alleviate the problem?

I can log in to any other character with out any problems. I’ve been thinking I might need to re-install the game, but I don’t want to have to do that if I don’t need to.

Could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
