    Unhappy Error 2002 Login Crystal/Balmung PS4

    Hi there,
    I’ve been going at trying to solve this issue for the past 8 hours now and still no luck. I’ve looked up every possible solution from various members and posts regarding the issue (ie. opening ports, turning off firewall, uninstalling, rebuilding ps4 database)I’m also on wired connection and I’ve done all the possible things and have never had this issue before while playing on my ps4 for the past couple years. I can connect to the European and Japan Data Centers with no issue, it’s just when I try to connect to the NA Data Centers i get the Error 2002. And ever since the patch came out yesterday this started out of nowhere. I’m looking for a solution ASAP as I want to get back in the game and play. I hope someone can help. Thank you for your time.

    I am having the problem. Oddly enough i can connect too Chaos but not Aether.

    Im posting on this instead of making a second post in hopes the same solution fixes the same problem.

    edit:

    So i tested pinging the FF servers with CMD
    NA Data Center 184.107.107.176
    JP Data Center 202.67.53.202
    EU Data Center 209.130.141.243

    i get 100% packet loss with NA, and the other two i get good reply's from the ping.

    We apologize for the delay in our response.

    If you are able to connect to the EU and JP Data centers, but not the NA one, you may be running into a routing or congestion issue on your way to that particular server. Since this would stem from outside of your home network, it would make sense that the troubleshooting you tried didn't solve the issue. If you are still experiencing this issue, you may want to try contacting your ISP and making a report with them.
