If someone used Sleep on them (it would have to be a Conjurer or White Mage, as no other job can put mobs to sleep in this game), then just hit them with an attack to wake them up if you really want to fight them that bad. Are you possibly talking about mobs that don’t aggro on sight? All dungeon mobs aggro, but it’s possible you’re running by mobs that only aggro by sight—meaning that they need to see you. There are three types of aggro:
Sight Aggro: you have to walk into their field of vision for them to aggro you.
Sound Aggro: you have to run by them for them to aggro you (in front of them or behind; doesn’t matter).
True Sight: mobs will aggro you regardless.
You can’t force players to kill all mobs in a dungeon, by the way. There are several low-level dungeons that have branching paths with extra mobs that people ignore because they don’t see the need to kill them—especially considering how quickly we level and gain experience nowadays. Back in the day, they probably killed them for EXP, but it’s no longer necessary and a lot of players find it tedious to hunt down every mob in every side room.
Yes, but his phases haven’t been seen since he was relevant, if I’m not mistaken. So 6 years ago. If you really want to see them, you can do minimum item level, undersized and have the level 70 player just stand there and do nothing while you solo him (except for maybe heal you, because you will need that), or you can try to solo him yourself. You can’t force 7 other players in a randomly matched party to slow the fight down for you just because you want to see all of the boss’s phases.Boss have attacks. Phrases. He must die from my hand like Ifrit. I not see what can do white lady on mecha chocobo. Gaming experience such that the frog was stronger than lady.
I can guarantee you that you’ve gotten level 70 players in Ifrit and Halatali. If not level 70, then at least high level players. They haven’t all been level ~20 players. You can click on the Party Members menu to see what everyone’s level is—because they’re synced down, it will only show you a synced level in the party list. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are that level. Why they not do 70 lvls on ifrit etc? Or "Halatali" not have 70 lvls players in party. Strange for me).
Nope. That’s how random matching works—sometimes you get players that are low level, sometimes you get players that are high level, and sometimes you get players that are max level. There’s nothing broken about it.I think its a broken mechanic.
I disagree. Sometimes I like to go back into old content despite having all of my jobs maxed out for well over a year now. That said, that’s not how this game works, nor how the developers want it to. They want level-capped players to queue into old content to help low-level players and new players.70 lvls must play on 70 lvls places. 50 on 50.
If the system worked the way you wanted it to, queue times would increase drastically for a lot of content—I’d hate to have to wait for 3 other level 41 players just to do Stone Vigil, for example; or 7 other level 49 players to do Cape Westwind...
Again, you’re probably getting high level players from the Duty Finder Roulette queues. You do know how Roulettes work, right?Or if 70 lvls can go 50 dung, give them all dungeons for que.
- Trial Roulette has a chance to place players in any trial: from 4-man Ifrit to the latest 8-man primal — this includes Cape Westwind as it is considered a “trial” in this game.
- Main Scenario Roulette will place players in either Castrum Meridianum or Praetorium, as the roulette only has those two duties in it.
- Leveling Roulette has a chance to place players in any leveling dungeon (i.e., level 15 to 49, level 51 to 59, and level 61 to 69 dungeons).
- 50/60 Roulette has a chance to place players in any level 50 or level 60 dungeon.
- Level 70 Roulette has a chance to place players in any level 70 non-Expert dungeon.
- Expert Roulette has a chance to place players in any level 70 Expert dungeon.
- Mentor Roulette has a chance to place players in ANY CONTENT—meaning all of the above.
This is just how this game works. If you’re hoping people won’t utilize the roulettes, then you’re in for a very rude awakening.
I really think you need to let this go, and just go play the game. This will be my last response to you, as I’m only allotted 20 posts every 24 hours on this forum, and I’d rather not waste any more arguing over this.
