    This x10.

We are all aware of the problem, and there's nothing we can do about it. It sucks that the new players don't get to experience older content the way a lot of us got to, but that's just the way the game evolves. Lv50 content is now a stepping stone, but now that you're 51 the learning experience will pick back up because the content is fairly balanced until you get to 60. Lv 60 content will be zerged like lv50, but then once you get to 61 it rebalances and repeats until lv70.

The problem, again, as Hyo succinctly points out, is that there are large gaps in item level at 50, 60 and 70. The content you have problem with was tuned for level 45/55 gear (fresh lv50 gear) but the gear cap itself at level 50 is 130/135. So there's 80 some odd levels of gear just for level 50 characters. If I were to join as a level 70 character, it would sync me down to the highest gear at lv50, not the lowest entry level gear. Maybe we can have a debate about whether SE should fix that or not, but that's a separate discussion. Same applies at level 60, entry level 60 gear is around 190 item level, but the gear cap is 270/275. Again a wide range of gear for just a single character level. That's because these were level caps at some point but content had to keep scaling up until the next expansion, instead of giving us extra levels we just get more powerful gear.

This is such a non-problem once you get to current content, which is why most people are finding your comments rather silly - you are just getting feet wet in this game, there is so much more to do and you shouldn't let 6 year old content dictate your feelings about the game or it's players. I mean, even the job(s) you are playing now aren't the same as the were when said content was relative, lv50 jobs are a shell of what they used to be when lv50 was the cap.

On the bright side, consider this: if you stick with it and make it to 70, soon there will be a new expansion and you'll get to experience it all as it was meant to be experienced, before nerfs/adjustments/job changes ruin it all later down the line.

We are trying to tell you it gets better*, but if you want to stay hung up on 6-year old, dead lv50 content - it's your call.

    * - the attitude of players wanting to complete content as fast as they generally can does not change, but I don't think that's an exclusive phenomenon of THIS game. It's likely to occur in *any* game where you have repetitive farming/looting designs. If you want a "stop and smell the roses" type of game, you're probably going to have to go offline.

can't expect people that have been playing the game for 5-6 years to care about new people running it for the first time. that's just the way the world works.

if you don't like it, then don't play the game. otherwise, suck it up and move on. complain all you like but you won't get people to agree with you no matter what you say.

As others have mentioned, the only way to get the true experience is Party Finder with lowest iLv cap that is appropriate for the content you desire.

Just because ask doesn't mean anyone his obligated to acquiesce. If you run an Expert dungeon and I happen to be on tank, I will do either big or super pulls because I have precisely zero interest in taking a scenic route of the dungeon. I've ran it several times by now and am only there to collect the daily bonus. If you want to take your time, either go with friends or put up a PF.

Relax just spent money. Easier to return to WOW. I do not feel my character as a character defeating evil. The first impression is remembered forever and it was spoiled. What to do). About the time. I do not think that 5 minutes spent by the group is more valuable than 2 months waiting for the last boss.

The best way to experience your dungeons your way is to do it with your FC.

And for your feeling of conquering evil, be patient, you will feel it much more at Heavensward once you get to Ishgard.

About these dungeons MSQ, it was the last time they made this type of dungeon where many cutscenes are integrated into the dungeon. For the future, they learned the lesson and integrated the cutscene at the beginning and end of the dungeon, with an introduction for the last boss.

This feeling of rolling on the boss, you will not feel it in Heavensward anymore, except in raid 8/24.

In general, the game experience before the first expansion is quite deplorable.

SE wanted new players not to be abandoned to their fate and allow HL to ply with newbie in exchange of Xp and Tomestone rewards. But nothing is perfect, we roll on old content despite the sync.

Game not say about that. I push in dungeon area and open menu "duty finder". There is a thought that in the dungeon without a full group can not get. Nothing about group with 2 players. Ah dont worry. 1-49 company more interesting for me than 10 lvls company.

Before signing up for the dungeon/duty either solo or with the pre-made group from e.g. party finder, you can access from the Duty Finder settings (a cogweel button in the top corner when you open the Duty Finder, see hidden image below) the option to set "Under-sized party", that will allow you to go in with fewer party members (or even solo) for some duties. The setting for minimum item level (IL) can also be found there.

See this image, and check the option you want in the game in the Duty settings:

Sigh, wish I hadn't read this thread, way to start the day with a headache.

    Stop giving OP attention.
Despite his bad attitude, his original question has been answered with many possible solutions by players far more patient than I could ever be.
His mind is set on refusing any and all of your suggestions and bashing the game and its players. It's clear nothing we say will change that.
At this point he's just throwing a childish tantrum for attention, best is to ignore this behavior as to not further encourage it.

Ignore him and either he'll move on or quit the game. Truly, we don't need this type of player.
