You could maybe say Stone & Aero are nature-based, but they're also just simple offensive expressions of the earth and wind elements. Even the AF set names (Healer's, Cleric's, Orison, Seventh Heaven) imply the job is more of a cleric than a druid.

    If they ever figure out a way to make Geomancer a full job rather than how it's presented in the AST quests as "the other side of the same coin as AST", then I imagine that might give you what you want.

    There is a reason for this: besides creating new lore, final fantasy games usually and consistently use many similar ability names from previous titles. WHM has been around since the first final fantasy.
    I agree though if youre going with pure lore and something new, maybe if we get to the new world there might be a brand new lore related job like a shaman or shapeshifter. I would be okay with that.
    As far as a morpher of any kind goes as far as im aware the only thing close to would be Terra Branford using "morph" to become half esper in ff6. All it seemed to do is enhance some stats temporarily{? never used it much}

I miss it sometimes. Started playing ESO recently and Warden sorta fills that void.
    I kinda feel like WHM lost the whole nature thing about lvl 40-50. The class quests might still have naturey lore, but abilities and game-play feel like generic stereotypical cleric.

    I'm mostly going off of lore, yeah.

    While I cannot give a specific date on when personal housing will be implemented, I can say that prices will be completely separate from free company housing, and, naturally, far more affordable.

    Sounds like you're asking for Geomancer then. It literally means earth divination. They're referenced in the Astrologer's story line, so they'll probably make their way to the game at some point as either a real job or a limited job (ala Blue Mage).

    This is a cultural thing and also biased by other games. White mage is a lot like a traditional druid. Some religions combine concepts of the supernatural and natural. Druids and Shaman are a kind of priest to them.
