Looking for like-minded people

I've been playing FFXIV since HW and I really enjoy savage raids and extreme trials but never seem to find similar minded people to play with. In HW I ended up as a trial farming loner.

My only real raid achievement is a server third on O4S after I finally found a group in 2017. That group kicked me which broke my spirits and made me take a 1,5 year long break from FFXIV.

Instead I played WoW and had standing invitations from several raid guilds but the game I love and want to play is FFXIV. I knew that returning would mean to once again face the loneliness and rejection of the FF community but I won't give up.

If there are others like me who play a lot, enjoy moderately high-end "midcore" PvE but can do without the rage, impatience and/or banter and have had problems finding their place on the PvE scene, maybe we could do something together?

I'm very soft and patient and prefer a more meditative grass eating approach to PvE but will always attempt to achieve high performance over time. I'm not a fast prog player but I'm disciplined and have a top level well above average (meaning I can probably handle any DPS check in Savage at least).

I only play SMN. Not because I can't play other jobs but because I prefer to focus on one and not waste time with others.

Gonna bump this since I'm still looking for people. Don't want to spend another expansion mount farming extreme trials alone and not enjoying the game fully at my full potential.

I'm looking for other rejects who no matter what they do cannot find people or groups to raid with. I guess people just dislike my personality but I don't know what to change. I want to do more content and not just sit around wasting time when others are having fun. I know there are others who have the same problem and I want to do something to change this so let's make our own thing with our own rules and destroy content together.

The vision I have for my group is: slow and steady learning, high top performance but no need to learn mechanics instantly, quiet, focused and loyal, no bantering or loud voices and never behaving as if we're more elite than we actually are with e-peen and flexing unnecessarily. The goal should be that each and everyone master their own job resonably enough and that we can do Savage and maybe more even. I'm a one-trick-pony SMN and YOU will have to teach me about your role/job for good teamwork since I am in no way omniscient in regards to this game.

I also intend to be self sufficient and as far as possible provide potions and food for the group when needed (if dps checks requires it).
