English Speaking Ragnarok LS

Sorry for not being here this past weekend, guys. I see you've already met both Aeni and Etra. The 3 of us make up just a few of the members of the www.ffxionline.com community and we'd be more than happy to have you join our forum in addition to here. As Aeni stated above, we're a very friendly community of (mostly NA) FFXI veterans who have been chatting about nearly everything there for years.

As promised, I am updating the OP on this thread as well as providing a link to our forums where you'll find the rest of our members hanging out 99% of the time.

With the merge just around the corner, prepare yourselves.

Now for a little Q&A I saw happening here:

Question: Is this an Endgame LS or a Social LS?
Answer: This is primarily a Social shell. If you're looking for one with more rigid rules and time lines of activities... I'm sorry to inform you that we're not going to be anything like that. What we will be is a community who will strive to teach, help out and learn together as we progress through the ever-expanding world that FFXIV has to offer. Given our vast number of aspiring members, we're going to be filling up time-slots like there's no tomorrow and you'll likely see that at any given time of day, there will be plenty of people to play with.

Question: Do I need a level 50 to join the LS?
Answer: Absolutely not. Anyone from Rank 1 to 50 is welcome to join us. We only ask that you bring with you the willingness to help as often as you ask for help.

Question: Are you welcoming players of all languages?
Answer: Although I have no intention of turning anyone away anyone who wants to join... if you don't or can't speak English at least a little... you might not benefit from us as much as you might from another. That being said, I'm open to learning new languages all the time. Thanks to this server merge, I've taken to studying Japanese using Rosetta Stone in an effort to bridge the language barrier.

Question: Where the hell is Yyg?
Answer: I did not abandon this or any other thread. I have a lot of RL things going on at the moment including purchasing a new house. I mainly post on this and DiV on Monday - Fridays and keep clear of the computer during the weekend. I do check in from time but there's never a guarantee.

i'll be moving here, even though I was shoe in for rabanastre, my other character was on Istory, so I moved of them here so I can have them together. Count me in for any english speaking possibly EST time zone...

At the moment it's still a work in progress but it will likely be Dreams In Vanadiel. Unfortunately, the LS naming system doesn't allow for custom characters like a " ' " or else we would be spelling it Dreams in Vana'Diel like it should be.

I'd like to join. I was originally an importer on Ragnarok (FFXI) associated with FFXiOnline a while back. I had several characters (Veskar, Tempest, Daleaude). Ill see if i can remember my old FFXIOnline sign ins.

I just restarted FFXIV after hating launch, and I'm enjoying quite a bit.

I will be joining Ragnarok server too and my character name is Andariel Tarutaru. I am from US and hopefully meet you all in the game

F_ck yeah~ I'm excited to roll a new char on Ragnarok with a UK ls buddy i recently met while still leaving my main on Masamune(Gyshal). <3 Glad to see I'm not the only American who'll roll on the EU server! Diversity!
