The idea to allow buying of rooms for private housing?

Other than FC and apartments, could we add a feature to buy rooms within our private houses? Perhaps set a max of 5 rooms per private house for the owner to buy. What do you guys think?

Would be kind of cool I guess? Especially if you could add purchase rights to your tenants. Like a private bedroom for yourself, or a place for tenants to decorate as they'd like. I'd probably personally just use it for storage, but I wouldn't say no to that either! lol

It's an idea that could be looked at in the future.

Right now they need to focus on making more houses available to those who don't have one, not increasing housing space for those who already do. If they start making changes for those who already have a house first, they're going to get a large portion of the player base extremely angry.

I would love this idea - even if it cost a million gil per room (seeing each FC house can have 512 rooms and in theory, each plot can hold an FC house I don't why a bunch of rooms can't be offered).

I originally hoped to show off each raid gearset on mannequins when they came out but with the limits on each housing, size would be relieved if these rooms worked the same as FC chambers with four in each. Could do a room for each raid tier for a single job!

I'm glad to be able to share at all but when I can swap the 3 people infinitely, it can't be that much of a stretch to just share it with my whole friendslist.

I think this is a great idea. It would lovely to have more space to decorate. I could see this being very popular, especially for people with small houses.

I would like to see the right to buy a room extended to tenants. However, I'm not sure the devs would do that; unless tenants get the right to reset the demolition timer, it would be a risky purchase.

I would love to be able to buy additional rooms in my private house FC style, as well as allow tenants to purchase rooms (and giving the homeowner a warning about this when they go to remove a tenant “this will also demolish their private rooms “).

I would have to agree with this, player run inns would be a cool feature.
