Would you be able to point out to me where does it say you can ONLY get them through this promotion? I can clearly see it says last chance to get these bonus items but does it say but where does it say the word "Only"?

It literally says "last chance". Not once, but TWICE. It even says "Don't miss out" and "make sure to get all three if you want to complete your minion collection". They've also thrown in "exclusive to each region".

I don't really see how that can be possibly understood as anything else except that this is your LAST CHANCE to get these items. There's no conditions added to it to like "Last chance... until we add to the Mogstation".

Okay so even if you couldn't purchase them from the salvager and lets give the example that someone bought all three streams to get all of the minions . You'd have enough for three sets all together. Three sets of items that can be stored in an armoire forever, that give you explicit notice the item cannot be reobtained if you discard them. On top of the one time recovery you might as well have them on your person forever at that rate since the steps someone would go to delete them would be pretty steep.

I don't know what point you're trying to make here. If you discard either outfit (Fanfest or Mogstation), you cannot get it back without using your recovery or purchasing it again from the Mogstation. So there's literally no difference to either, once purchased if you discard there is no feature in the game to get them back.

The point I was trying to make is if I wanted to focus on just the minions/glam (which seems to be your main point) I could have absolutely just stayed home and purchased them as they came on the mogstation.

Because SE don't either. See the advert they sent out. It doesn't even mention that you won't be able to view the streams past the expiry date, it literally only mentions the outfits and minions.

You're selling yourself short mate if you believe the glamour/minions legit make up the high price.

I don't think the price was worth it, but SE knows that there are collectors so they add minions (and orchestrion rolls) to items because they know they can then get a sale just based on that item.

Also personal request, if you're going to quote me, please actually quote me. Putting "snip" in defeats the point of a quote as I have no idea what you're referring to without having to scroll up and down.

You question my English yet I'm asking you specifically if you see the word "Only" in this ad or any phrasing that says the items will no longer be available past the promotion. I haven't gotten an actual reply to either and that is a key point . Only means that it will ONLY be through this advertisement and no longer available is pretty obvious. The "Last Chance!" you're focusing on is implied to be part of the bundle promotion as a packaged deal. I see the exclusive minion text but I still don't happen to see anything talking about how the items will never be obtainable past this promotion. It's your own fault for assuming it was just that. Unless stated outright never put your bets down, always keep your mind open to if it may come back in some way shape or form especially when the game has the mogstation.

The point I'm making about this is that with so many notifications you would have to intentionally ignore them all to delete them all. Any sane person would stop if knowing the items are non recoverable or at least factor in the one time recovery into their initial statement if they needed to delete them for whatever reason. But since they can be stored in the armoire space would never be an issue.

That's because it's a last call for the deal directing you to the website generally sent through email. It's under the assumption you know what's going on and even if you didn't you'd find out about it pretty easily, especially with a price that high. You don't jump the gun into something like that especially with that price point without knowing what you're getting. It would be nice if they explained more on the advert but that is what the directing to the main site is.

Listen if you're going to complain about spending a combined equivalent of $90 for all three streams simply for the collection sake of two outfits and three minions and then completely ignore the three live stream events you get with all those features you are undermining your purchase. Doesn't matter if you view the streams as not worth it, they're a part of your price and are a BIG part of that price. Actively ignoring them as a whole is weakening your argument and giving people this misrepresentation of what they're really paying for.

Honestly you trying to argue my points is honestly just depressing to me especially on the live stream stuff. The majority of video uploads of those streams are taken off Youtube constantly due to SE copyright claiming, and those Primals concerts can't be viewed at all without purchasing the blu-ray osts (if said songs are even put in them) which don't have the same impact as those streams. The minions/glam can thankfully be experienced due to the mogstation but some of those moments with the devs, Yoshi-p, Soken, Koji, and everyone from that Fanfest can't. Downplaying that part of the purchase just irks me, especially if you're the type of person willing to shell out that much money on in game items.

Because otherwise the post would literally just be an aimless post trying to argue your points with zero context. The snip is to relay what paragraph I'm relating to. If you click on the quote as well it'll bring you back to your post and it's just piecing the two together, doesn't take long.

Yes, but it's a soft limit. You just copy the post that's too long to your clipboard, save just the first part, hit edit, paste the entire post in and his save again.

No idea why SE made it like that (or that they allow this workaround to work), but it's basically how everyone gets around the word limitation so you can write longer posts.

I'm disappointed because I feel the advertising was misleading and I believe it implies an finality in getting those items.

Other people clearly don't agree with me and think that this behaviour/ambiguity is acceptable and although I don't think anyone has actually directly said it, it's basically been implied that my beliefs in SE were a little naïve.

I think the really frustrating part is that until they release a minion I actually can't get I'll still keep going out of my way to collect the stupid things, but that's my problem, and one I'm sure that SE will be happy to take advantage of.

To each their own. I respect you being polite about this entire discussion and while I don't agree with your opinion I can at least get an idea where you're coming from.

I think at the end of the day we really just go this far for the minions/emotes/mounts through the paid purchases is the completion side and being a fan really play into each other. We get super into it because it's something that means a lot to us, whether it be collecting on your end of the experiences on mine.

Regardless of how my opinions may be and I'm sorry if I my wording was rude prior, I'm content we can both come to understanding that we're happy with people being able to purchase them regardless.

Its not that its "Acceptable" its that its normal, and SE sure as heck isn't the first, or the last to use such ADs. Read the fine print, unless it specifically says something, never assume it. And I think the bigger issue is you thought the AD meant something it didn't say.
