There is so much information floating around these forums, so forgive me if this has been asked/brought up before. I couldn't find anything about it.
I'm curious if there is any plans in the making to give a player an easier way to recognize when an on-trigger ability can be used? In the past I leveled up Glad and just starting too again on my new character. Also even in the past on my Pug there was similar abilities. What I'm talking about is abilities that require some type of trigger to take place before they can be used. For example on Gladiator there is Phalanx. It can not be used until you block an attack.
While alot of the time you can see yourself block but this isn't always the case. If you are in the middle of using a weaponskill, spell, or ability most of the time you don't see the block animation. This leaves you a) not knowing you can use the on-trigger ability or b) staring at the chat log trying to see if you blocked. This because pretty annoying quick for a couple reasons. One, staring at scrolling text isn't exactly fun and two, you need to be able to keep your eye on other things.
So yea, does anyone know if SE has any plans to implement some sort of changes to help see when such on-trigger abilities can be used? If not I think a simple system that is already in the game would work well. We have the pink circles that light up around weaponskills that can be used while under the Combo buff. Why not do something similar but a different color, perhaps a neon green, that lights up around on-trigger abilities when they can be used.
Just to cover my tracks, before people scream things like me needing my hand held or I just want the game to play for me or go back to WoW.. please refrain x.x It's not a matter of wanting the game easier, it's a matter of poor design and animations overlapping. Thanks for information![]()
