    Novice Network Bot Issues

Currently wondering if the NN has always been like this..

I'm on Siren, and currently a good chunk of the sprouts in the NN are clearly bots. Someone seems to keep inviting them into the NN, and they join for some reason. You can clearly tell they are bots. They have gibberish names, all of them are level 50 BLMs, and all of them are in Amdapor Keep. You can also clearly tell they were invited one after another because the NN lists players in the order they were invited to the NN.

I sent out a ticket, but currently - I am unsure what to do besides leave them. The NN isn't full, but they are still taking up about 20 spaces. (That would make around 1/6th of the players in the NN bots.)

Kicking would send out a report, and I can not 100% confirm they are bots. (Even if they are all level 50 BLMs, with gibberish names, in a single dungeon.)

Kicking many of them would result in me being kicked from the NN as well.

    Clearly, something is wrong.

Chances are someone is just being a troll by inviting them.

Kicking them won't really do anything since NN will automatically make you rejoin as soon as your timer is up and with the bots constantly zoning in and out of Amdapor Keep they'll be getting back in the instant their kick timer has expired.

I've personally kicked them before, and as long as you plainly state that they're bots and why you believe that to be the case it's unlikely you'll get in trouble for it.

They'll get banned sooner or later, but this problem will keep repeating until SE starts taking more permanent measures against them.

See that's actually why I noticed it.
A few mentors were discussing other mentors being on a kick timer for doing a "bot sweep" and kicking too many bots from the NN.

End up taking a look at the online list whenever I join the NN now, and it's always crammed with bots.

Bots often disappear when they use their teleport tricks, so them being in the novice network provides the advantage of being able to catch their names so you can report them.

Unless that is the mentor's logic, they are obviously trolling.
