Buying Houses is broken

Well at least it is 100% better than having you camping at the front gate and clicking god know how long and till some lucky one walk by and turn your days effort into nothing

But it put a massive delay in how long it takes for us to get a real fix for the situation because they've wasted time on something that should only be needed temporarily instead of spending that time on the real problem - the lack of housing to meet demand.
