Quick question I was hoping someone who may have experienced this could answer. I tried contacting a GM and they closed my tickets twice with a copy/paste answer totally unrelated to this question... and I contacted phone support and the agent basically didn't know.

So according to the official site here: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes.../housing_land/

When a plot is vacated, it is not for sale. As said before in live letters, there is a random timer on it. This much I understand.

However, after reading the red text, and as was described before because it is a different feature, it is still possible to relocate your house to that empty plot that is locked by the timer.

Is this the correct assumption? Has anyone done this before that can verify 100% this is working? I ask because customer support said "I don't know but someone here said you cannot do that" and couldn't give me a definitive official answer, and the GM staff won't give me a proper answer to my ticket, instead just copy/pasting some generic "we cannot assist with guides or in game mechanics, please see the forums for dungeon mechanic guides" (they obviously didn't read the ticket at all). Since there is no official way to get a definitive answer, I figured posting here and asking I might find someone who has either been able to, or not been able to.

When housing was released for 4.2 I heard a lot of people saying the plot relocation feature was giving them issues so I wanted to verify that it is indeed working, and that my assumption that you can relocate to a plot with a purchase lockout timer is correct.

TL;DR - Can you still relocate your house to a plot with a purchase lockout timer?

Thanks!
