Yeah, I did that near the beginning. Still haven't heard back unfortunately.

It has to be a GM. In which case, the OP would have grounds to appeal to superiors about any sorts of punishment. At least on the grounds of inappropriate action taken. It’s unlikely that this is a third-party.
