been stuck in uldah on ultros for a couple of hours been noticing a gilseller spaming every 10 minutes.

I can verify that exact same thing has been happening on my server, Midgardsormr, for the last few days. Only it's every 30-60 seconds. I haven't seen RMT spam this bad since the early days of ARR.

They are probably use to how most every other MMO handles RMT. SE has a unique let it happen for a long time approach. The other is a more swift immediate action. Which is probably not a GM, but automated.



I am not sure which solution works better. But the other one does remove the noise and shows a companies desire to make a persons gaming experience more enjoyable.

I don't expect action instantly, but it's a bit ridiculous to think that bots get to level 50 & start farming in less then 24 hours, and SE only takes action once a week at best.

What exactly are your expectations here? Do you just think if you file enough reports, the game can finally be free of bots?

I mean, I'm not saying it's a futile effort or anything. But, there's literally nothing that will fully stop bot/spammer activity. You'll be doing yourself a favor if you learn not to get too bent out of shape about it.

I do wish SE would legally go after the people making the bot codes, rather than this long drawn out process they have that fails to even address the problem. Blizzard did it and seemed to have a decent amount of success in doing so. I wish SE would at least take a crack at it.

If the bot coders are in china, theres not much they can do. China encourages this stuff.

this is hwy i hang out in kugane or Ishguard. no bots
