So what you are saying is SE, and GMs do not actually ban the accounts belonging to RMT accounts. because if that was the case they would be raking in billions in cash in sales alone. I mean on the launcher there is always a report that states banned X000's accounts. and it stands to reason each one of those was a purchased account, so as they said in Aliens "Whos laying these eggs" have RMT figured out how to generate keys?

Stolen credit cards, fraud. That's why SE bans them, because the cardholders find the charges and do charge backs

This game doesn't have GM's. If they do it's only a couple. For a game that makes 2.5 Billion dollars anually just in subscriptions it's reprehenceable. I muself had a few large purchases that didn't get delivered. Called 3 separate times over the course of 1.5 weeks. Opened tickets. I have yet to receive an actual reply from a GM. Per Square Enix's phone support "There is a high number of harassment complaints with the Free to Play period, and the GM's cannot handle the influx of tickets.". In regards to RMT/Gil sellers I wholeheartedly believe that Square Enix is profiting from them. I cannot think of another reason Square Enix would allow these spammers to openly continue to promote RMT. It's been this way since the game has launched. Personally I just ignore or move to blacklist.

There are GM's but they are not going to respond to every ticket that gets filed since most can be handled without talking to the player who made it. GM's also do not handle mogstation or Squareenix store purchases. Most MMO's ban RMT spammers in waves now instead of trying to tackle them one at a time as its a waste of time and money trying nail every single RMT report that pops up. The GM's like most staff are not in office 24/7 and expecting them too be is very reaching..

They do not get 2.5 billion from subs lol. If you give them the benefit of 15 a month for everyone(I pay 7.99/mo in 6mo increments) , and estimate 500k subs, that's 90 million. No where near 2.5 billion lmao.

been stuck in uldah on ultros for a couple of hours been noticing a gilseller spaming every 10 minutes.

I can verify that exact same thing has been happening on my server, Midgardsormr, for the last few days. Only it's every 30-60 seconds. I haven't seen RMT spam this bad since the early days of ARR.

You still can't just put someone on blast like that.
Do you not understand the concept "Innocent until proven guilty"?

On top of that, SE doesn't put out the names or punishments given. They don't want people just shaming others. Discipline is in SE's hands.

But how long does it take to see that a character is sending out many thousands of spam messages every day with links to a gil selling site?

Well, this is SE so it takes weeks apparently. But you know. The evidence isn't exactly difficult to dig up.

why do people expect instant deletion? you know how the system works by now. just because you don't see instant results DOES NOT MEAN THE SYSTEM ISN'T WORKING. just go about your day.

What exactly are your expectations here? Do you just think if you file enough reports, the game can finally be free of bots?

I mean, I'm not saying it's a futile effort or anything. But, there's literally nothing that will fully stop bot/spammer activity. You'll be doing yourself a favor if you learn not to get too bent out of shape about it.

I do wish SE would legally go after the people making the bot codes, rather than this long drawn out process they have that fails to even address the problem. Blizzard did it and seemed to have a decent amount of success in doing so. I wish SE would at least take a crack at it.
