You must be new to the game. RMT players are dealt with in waves, you don't just report one and expect it to be handled immediately but it will be in time. Report and blacklist them for the time being.

They should add some system to silence an account that's been reported over a set about of times though, say 50 reports from different people. Add some sanity checking that only allows 1 report/ account too so you can't make new characters, report someone and then make another character and report again. You must be new to the game. Reason I say this is because I've seen the same name spamming for several days straight. These bots shouldn't be allowed to spam for up to 2 weeks before getting banned.
also GM's don't handle gil sellers/RMT, the special task force handles those. You can submit a report thru the support desk or right click report and the message will be forwarded on to them. you will not receive a response. you will also not see immediate action being taken.
This game doesn't have GM's. If they do it's only a couple. For a game that makes 2.5 Billion dollars anually just in subscriptions it's reprehenceable. I muself had a few large purchases that didn't get delivered. Called 3 separate times over the course of 1.5 weeks. Opened tickets. I have yet to receive an actual reply from a GM. Per Square Enix's phone support "There is a high number of harassment complaints with the Free to Play period, and the GM's cannot handle the influx of tickets.". In regards to RMT/Gil sellers I wholeheartedly believe that Square Enix is profiting from them. I cannot think of another reason Square Enix would allow these spammers to openly continue to promote RMT. It's been this way since the game has launched. Personally I just ignore or move to blacklist.
There are GM's but they are not going to respond to every ticket that gets filed since most can be handled without talking to the player who made it. GM's also do not handle mogstation or Squareenix store purchases. Most MMO's ban RMT spammers in waves now instead of trying to tackle them one at a time as its a waste of time and money trying nail every single RMT report that pops up. The GM's like most staff are not in office 24/7 and expecting them too be is very reaching..This game doesn't have GM's. If they do it's only a couple. Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!

They do not get 2.5 billion from subs lol. If you give them the benefit of 15 a month for everyone(I pay 7.99/mo in 6mo increments) , and estimate 500k subs, that's 90 million. No where near 2.5 billion lmao. This game doesn't have GM's. If they do it's only a couple. For a game that makes 2.5 Billion dollars anually just in subscriptions it's reprehenceable. This game does have GMs. I have spoken with them several when reporting bugs. However, they don't pop up for RMT reporting. As stated previously, RMT are dealt with in waves. Keep reporting them and they will eventually be banned. Then the RMT simply make more accounts and it all starts over.
This seems like such a stupid system. This game does have GMs. I have spoken with them several when reporting bugs. However, they don't pop up for RMT reporting. They aren't banned fast enough, so they continue to farm gil, or whatever anyways.
Bots end up making a mint, and then get banned when the damage is already done. Meanwhile players can report bots 24/7 and still not report all the bots flooding into the game.
bots in mmo's/any mmo is a thing. you can't get away from them. why do they exist? because people can and will continue to buy gil for real world money. eliminate that problem then there is no need for rmt.
