I'm not even sure when people have the time to do that, it seems like an easy way to get killed in PvP

I don’t think they’ll remove the emote, which like others are saying players will just find a new way to do it. I’m sry someone did that, it’s a thing in online gaming pvp that has always been rude stupid, immature and just gross.
Also just maybe this will make you feel better, if a player who is living stands in one place for 25 seconds doing an emote, basically they fail at pvp lol, they aren’t doing their team a favor. You should always be moving and completing objectives. Unlike in other pvp games in ff14 all input stops when you win a match, this is probably to prevent stuff like loser shaming happening.
"My character is already dead, therefore I cannot be t-bagged, characters who squat on my face do not affect me."
Report them and move on. The emote isn't the issue, just like chat in The Feast wasn't an issue. Taking things away isn't going to prevent a player with bad behavior from finding another means to harass with.
Except in this case it's not "harassment," again disrespecting your opponent has always been a component of competitive modes. It's a tactic used to throw ppl off their game.
Harassment would be if one player continued to send /tells or something after the match to trash talk with no provocation from the receiving party. This could go either way too. The player that performed the disrespectful action then continued to send the player they killed tells or even tracked them down to continue spamming emotes at them in the same area, then that would qualify as harassment. However, if the player that was killed in the match were to send tells to the player that killed them about what a "mean" person they were, etc. Well then they would be harassing that player.
I'm sorry, but continually teabagging someone in an online game is very much harassment. It isn't just about words; it's about context.
That you actually believe this kind of antisocial behavior is in some way healthy or normal is incredibly concerning.
What a weak emotional state you must have. Someone tea bagged you so you're gonna get them banned? Seriously? The real offensive thing is that someone who is supposed to be old enough to have the mental and emotional fortitude to withstand a simple little joke, is grabbing pitchforks and torches to punish someone over a NON issue.
I would be so embarrassed if I thought like that, that I wouldn't even bother posting. Literally never play FPS games, or League of Legends. You would probably be in tears from how they'd treat you. And no, you wouldn't get banned for the racist, sexist, homophobic, and otherwise horrid things that people would call you over voice chat, probably from late teens to early twenties boys.
Man, I would be laughing and in tears if someone tea bagged my corpse and shot off a fire work and danced on the corpse xD. I would honestly send them a tell or a friend request because that's hilarious, honestly.
Some have thicker skin than others. Personally I feel teabagging or anything of the sort just shows how childish said teabagger is. If your main joy is making others feel bad in pvp, then I pity you. I used to get annoyed by it, but now I just ignore it. However, if I ever feel that triggering sensation come up in any pvp game, I immediately minimize or alt tab after I died so I don't see the aftermath - what ever that may be.
As for the OP - after reading her posts I can surmise that normally she isn't as triggered. But this particular pvper went way out of their way to teabag her for a very long time. They didn't continue fighting or aiding their team. They blatantly wanted her to feel bad for losing. Kinda fudged up if you ask me, and I can see why she feels that's harassment.
Now, should SE ban emotes from pvp? It wouldn't really matter if they did. People would find a way to make themselves feel better while making others feel bad even if all they could do is run around in circles on their corpses. That's sadly the state of PVP in the gaming community right now. Part of the fun is showing disrespect and acting like you're better than everyone else.
As I stated earlier. It's a component of Psychological Warfare. Antisocial would be t-bagging ppl that died in PvE with the intent to make them feel bad.
In Player vs. Player content it's the equivalent of "trash-talking." The intent is to irritate the opponent and disrupt their focus.
No one cares about 'psychological warfare' in a video game. It's not that deep.As I stated earlier. It's a component of Psychological Warfare. Antisocial would be t-bagging ppl that died in PvE with the intent to make them feel bad.

Look, you can call it whatever you like in an attempt to avoid the reality of things, but it is still antisocial, and your attempt to excuse it says so much more about you than the OP and their complaint about the misuse of an emote.
