Hello.

Since there is literally no PM function to this forum, I've resorted to posting my request here to get the help of a Moderator.

Personal info and long story aside, it's a very troublesome post for me to leave up in plain sight. So, for obvious reasons, I desperately ask of you to please delete this for me! I am unable to locate any such function to delete a post, and tech support told me to come here and ask for help.

May I suggest you google "Streisand effect" ?

That old post of yours would have been seen by very few people, and even fewer if any would have had any reason to seek it out.
Now? By requesting that it be removed you have caused a lot of people to become aware that the old post exists, and plenty of people will have looked at it just to see what the fuss is about.

You posted your concern in Technical help, and the moderator has already taken care of the issue it seems. They have moved it to the Closed Issues thread, a thread that most likely isn't even a place where players go to look for information (since closed threads can't be replied to, so it's a waste of people's time to even go there).

Unless your post is crossing the line and needs to be deleted, I do not think it'll be removed, but at least it'll be in a area most forum users never go to...well..besides the fact you linked it anyway.

Pretty sure you can just edit the post and click delete. Or maybe that doesn't work for thread starters?

I love the automated non-human responses that Square Enix offers. The lack of help offered in game and in forums is funny.

I know I myself have requested help as well. Months have gone by without anything more than a similar automated response good job Square Enix keep up the great work at keeping this great MMORPG at number two instead of number one where it should be.

Hey, Dynratygus, please get back to me about my issue. Now that this is in the "correct" section of the forums, could you assist me with my original request? Either delete the original post for me, or take it out of the closed section temporarily so that I may edit it myself.
