I'm concerned for ffxiv's future

We all saw the live letter. They said they could only do two jobs in this expansion. And then said this is the only races they could do for awhile.
I understand the hard work that goes into mmo's. And I also understand that this game was rebuilt basically in two years.
And I look at older mmo's and even wow seems to have a hard time holding up.
It's going to be harder and harder to meet the demands of all the players. It already is.
I feel it is time for another rebirth for this game.

And better codes..seeing how the reminding 1.0 code is used as a reason for limitations and things they cant do quite often..which will just hinder the games growth in the future even futher.

you would think they would invest in a bigger team considering the yearly revenue it generates. I mean this game has got to be one of the biggest assets to SE currently given the money people spend on subs, mogstation items, name changes, fantasias.. etc.

It's more likely that the revenue from XIV has been getting used in part for however many iterations they've done of 7R at this point, just like KH3, and will continue to be used for its episodic release schedule, just like XV. From what we've been told, a lot of what XIV brings in isn't reinvested into it, and is instead used on other projects.

Do you think they operate this game for the good of mankind; it's operated to make a profit. Where do you think the money came from to make 1.0 and 2.0.
