Nobody uses the search function still?

I just want to say this: On my server, or my LS specifically, we use the search function all the time while forming EXP parties. ...That being said, I'd like to see this in auto trans: [I can't invite you to the party, until you leave your existing one.] Or something along those lines...

It is used all the time on Wutai, but the problem is until mergers there really isn't enough people on our server for it to serve is maximum potential.

as for the text commands, its neat but i highly doubt it will improve the situation much

i dont expect people that are too lazy/stupid to use the menu in the first place to memorize lines of text commands tbh

If by "nobody" you mean no "NA players", then yeah.

As for the Search, people can only flag the one job they want to level, even though they might have multiple jobs that they want to level. So most of the time you'll just have to /tell people.
