What are you talking about? they serves different purposes.

Old one is for people to join in by themselves, new one is for you to search through people and send them tell.

And that is part of the problem, players are split between two system, the old system was 100 times more convoluted than the new one and isn't linked in any way with it either.

And isn't it the idea that a party leader looks for members ?

Indeed they may serve different purposes but I just think its causing more confusing in general, the old system needs to be removed IMO.

It's the idea in FFXI, sure.

But alot others MMO have the system where leaders just put recruits up, whats funny is nobody actually using the new one really despite the it being less convoluted.

Anything is confusing if people doesn't want learn it, not saying that the systems is good. It can be improved, but removing it because people are ignorant? lol.

In which case, they are not the one that whines about it here. =p

This is because crafting bots don't use the search system. I find them to be very selfish and unresponsive to the party play aspect of this MMO. I'm not sure what needs to be done about this. Perhaps better bot design would allow them to party up every once in a while instead of being so anti-social.

or just shout in uldah for parties cause thats were everyone is lol. and ppl who arent in uldah probably have ls mates that are that will let them know that there are shouts for pts. just sayin.

The new search is a lot better i can LFG while on Miner or while on a 50 cap class, so that means you don't have to be stuck sitting in town on the class you want to lvl.
