So uh, wheres the long lasting content?

Everytime someone has brought up a lack of content in EW or low quality content people have brought up how we’re getting the Tataru quests and the Omega quests. So, i gave the benefit of the doubt and said okay maybe this will be fully fleshed out long lasting quests. I guess i was wrong. Completed both in about an hour and a half…. So where exactly is all this new long lasting content? We still have to wait until what, July or August for 6.2?

Animal crossing, relic and hopefully this “massive gold saucer content that’s biggest we’ve implemented since Vermillion” (that was mentioned in ew build up and never again.

Yep, Island Sanctuary, Criterion Dungeons, Deep Dungeon, and Relic aint starting till 6.2 and beyond.

“The story will get really good 30 hours in” has been replaced with “the expansion will get replayability 8 months in”

You're meant to get a week or two entertainment every 3-4 months, go pay another game company to entertain you properly instead and praise the devs for respecting your time.

Yeah...I mean, WoW sucks right now, but if I chose to subscribe right now I'd still have plenty to do every day/week. Whether that is stuff actually fun to do or not may be another story, but it's still there. All of these major expansion features that got pushed back or were already scheduled to be released somewhere down the line would be a major plus right now, for us and SE. MMOs thrive on replayability. FF XIV doesn't do the best job with that.

What gets me is people acting like this expansion would have so much more content but….criterion dungeons are most likely just relic related. Deep dungeon isn’t new. The only “new” thing is island sanctuary and it’s probably just gonna be random slice of life content. The games been out for 10+ years and we’re still getting the same/less content than in the past? this is insane with how much money the game has made and the players it’s gotten, well, until recently they dropped off. Wonder why

Have you done everything else in the game? I’ve played since 2.0 and still have things to do!
