    Boot error, Unable to complete version check. [30605][10009][19900][1753]

    Prefacing this with: This is not for me, this is for another player, who cannot post on the forums due to not being able to log in for the past 14 days (Wasnt even aware that kind of rule existed)



    He gets hit with that error instantly, upon opening the launcher, before it even gets to the log in screen (So unfortunately the system info isnt able to be gotten)
    It happened recently upon a fresh OS install and game reinstall, so he assumes theres some kind of networking issue or program missing.
    Just for reference it's the Steam version of the game.

    Hopefully one of the technical support devs can point us in the right direction, thanks.

    Could you also provide the following?

    -Platform
    -Wired or WIFI connection
    -Other programs being used when running FFXIV
    -When disconnect occurs/How often
    -Everything you have tried to resolve the issue

    No problem,

    -Windows 10 OS
    -Wired internet
    -Nothing else running
    -Error happens as soon as the launcher is opened
    -It's happened on a fresh install of W10 too, so basically everything is brand new.
