Housing repossession question

I stopped playing a while ago due to work so relinquished my old house plot to a friend (gave him til to buy it and waited for timer to run out etc) and he made me co owner/shared of the house in case I came back, he seems to have stopped playing for a while as not caught him online at all but he still has the house have I just missed him (friends list says ??? For days offline) and I know the timer is 45 days or does that reset with me being shared ownership?

On my asking as struggling to find my own plot so was going to decorate this one and use up all my stored items but don't want to do it and loose them if only owner can stop the timer? Hope made sense it's late XD

Shared owners do not reset timers for privates. With FC's any member can reset the timer by entering the house.

The Auto Demo timer just recently restarted so there might be a 45 day timer ticking on the property. The owner needs to enter it and if he's stopped playing that isn't a good thing. I would be careful about decorting it cause if it goes to demolition the furnishings will go to the resident caretaker for retrieval but honestly I don't think shared owners can reclaim anything there. There is a 30 day timer (not certain it's 30 but close to that) before the caretaker will no longer let you reclaim anything.
