Is this on the roulette? I've been waiting nearly 2 hours in duty finder, there's nothing in party finder - I am guessing it's hard anyway since that won't give rewards. I also did a /shout but nothing.

I haven't even seen 1 other person enter the queue, not even a DPS. What other options do I have atm? I am stuck because I need it to get onto the pre HW quests.

Yes it's part of the Main Scenario Roulette and it's gives a lot of rewards if players queue through it that way, but as the cutscenes are unskippable it often can take time to fill up. You could try running a Party Finder group yourself, just mention it's your first time for MSQ, you only need a lvl 70 to carry you through it unsync if you prefer

Also I noticed you are on a JP datacentre. It may be worth making sure you click multiple languages in your Duty Finder settings as this can effect how long it takes to match make up with other players.

For duty finder, you'll definitely want to change the language settings to all languages, because English speakers are a minority on the JP data centres - at least to the point that your chances of getting an eight-man party configuration queued at a suitable time is pretty low.

Additionally the MSQ roulette that fills in extra players for those duties is isolated because of its high time investment, high rewards structure - so it's slow to fill at the best of times, and you're queuing during a quiet period.

I just got home from work, I am going to try again with all languages on. I did try to form my own group after this thread but I couldn't get anyone. Iscah thank you for the offer, I'll try now to form/queue into one again but if it works out the same I may take you up on your offer.
