Trial Fantasia

sometimes you think you might want to fanta but you don't want to plop down money for it. i propose once a month you be able to acquire 1 (one) trial fantasia that would basically give you a short period of time (3 hours? 6 hours?) to try your new appearance out and see if you *really* want to fanta or not.

I'd be happy being able to preview the changes on my character like at the aesthetician, instead of having to get naked and log out. I feel like it should be done through the bell anyway, and have it note on the UI which changes cost gil and which would require a fantasia to complete.

Depending on your outfits you’ll be able to try them on via the market boards.

But considering that you won’t be able to test every emote out on a new character to check the animations, a trial Fantasia would be good.

I'd love for a trial Fantasia, even if it had a super strict cool-down and even if it was for only 30mins-1hr.

To those saying "Make an alt." An alt does not grant you access to all the various hairstyles you have collected over the course of your play time. You don't have access to see different emotes you have collected being used by various races. Even just swapping from one gender to another, there are glamours you can trade into the Calamity Salvager (or the NPC near it) that allows you to have the other gendered clothing. There are many variables and factors in switching over race/genders when using Fantasia. And a lot of it you can't really participate with when using alt. characters.

I'd prefer changing Fantasia to allow you up to 24 hours to make as many changes as you want.

Or, maybe instead of actual fantasia, making something like aesthetician, but without possibility to apply changes? Make it a little instance where you can try all your hairs and check emotes, with option to try on clothes as well. Probably too hard and not worth to implement, though..

Considering how many people wasting fantasia's for just a skin color or eye color and then imediatly using another one again because they don't like it, only to use one yet again because it doesn't match with the glamour plate 3 ...

SE makes way to much profit out of it.


I guess I am the weird one to think this behaviour of certain people is weird.
