Housing situation

So my FC and I are trying buy a house, however we cant decide where exactly. (Dont worry that's not what the treads about). We would like to do it in the Stormblood DLC area but we have a couple people in our FC that have the DLC however they are not a high enough level to access it. If we get a house in the Stormblood area would they be able to access it right away or do they have to grind inorder to get there in the story?

if you put up a mini aetherite they should be able to teleport directly to your fc house. Not 100% shure but i think you could even go there if you dont have stormblood

Awesome, that's what I read in some of the other forums, but I'm wanting to be sure that way we dont exclude our lower level friends.

Don't forget to add the members who are not yet leveled enough or have not finished msq, in friends list of members who are leveled enough and can access the fc house in shirogane, for the new members to make use of estate teleportation.

That's correct. I didn't have Stormblood at first but I was able to go to my friend's house in Shirogane since he made me a tenant and had a mini-aetheryte. It works the same for FC members trying to get to their FC house.

You can teleport to and from the Shirogane housing district, but you can't exit to Kugane until you've visited the city during main story progression.

You also cannot visit any other wards in Shirogane.
