Nope. I have played Bards in all the MMOs I play. This one looks to prove a great experience for me also. It will certainly be my first and main job.

I had my elezen all set up and ready to be a dragoon a month or so ago, but I deleted him once I returned and made this new character. I'm going for a paladin since it was my first 50 job in XI. Probably work on a Tanking WAR after that since I seem to be in a Tanking mood these days.

LNC is my only job to 50 so far, so I think DRG will be my first job, closely followed by BLM.

WHM and BRD first for me..I've always loved support and healing! Although dagger type class (THF, DNC) is usually my favorite hehe not one in the game yet ^_^

I was a PLD in FFXI, GLA was my first class at 50, and my first Final Fantasy ever was... FFIV. Cecil Harvey is my favorite FF main character.

Guess you can guess which I'm going for first, and which will be my main ?

Since I came back at around 1.20's release, I also leveled CON et LNC at 50, so WHM and DRG will be done right after. Also, I hit 40 MRD just before going to bed last night, so WAR will soon be done as well.

After that, I'll probably take a break from leveling classes to enjoy the new content, and once I decide to resume leveling other classes, I had planned to do PGL, then THM and ARC last. I do intend to get that crown before 1.22.

Monk. I was a little disappointed by the af for monk in the previously released stuff but in the instanced dungeon video it looks great. Pgl has been my favourite but least played class for a while now so I'm looking forward to the chance to play mnk, I'm trusting that it's going to be badass.
