Idk, it says 1.21, items being removed from the game. Even if you have them. (Also notice its a 4hr maint XD)

My conclusion :

We should already know how FFXIV development teams do their stuff. Before they apply some critical changes, they will make announcement for a few weeks.

I believe they are just updating their ingredient lists in this patch note. You can compare them with the one under Items not Used in New Recipes section in patch 1.19.

Took a while but I think I found the quote.

The plan is for dated recipes to be completely removed from Disciples of the Hand leves in patch 1.22.

It appears that they were just talking about leves. But why wouldn't they remove both at the same time? And seriously, why wait till the very last day to tell us they're being removed in this patch? This information would have been much more useful a week or 2 ago..

I'll be crafting all day, night, tomorrow morning and afternoon until maintenance starts. At which time I'll take a nap while updating lol. I'll still have about 1000 synths go to waste
