I'm not sure if this was suggested before, but if it hasn't I would like to see a "Level Sync" option when joining parties with members out of range of exp. I like to play with my friends and we liked to do Eureka and level together, but that was limited to once a week. This may be a selfish reason but I have a lot more time than my friends to play and not being able to advance out of a certain range of levels is frustrating. Even meeting newer players to the content is frustrating because the most that I can do is carry them on my multi-seater mount and then disband from their party so that they can continue to get exp off of enemies they are fighting around their level.

Basically, I would like there to be an option to sync within the seven levels of the lowest level member of the group that can be toggled on or off like fates.

Yea, the level disparity exp drop is horrible.
I once tried to get a friend to come in with me, he did but got basically no exp. I had to drop him from party and tell him to level on his own.
    Great design. Not.

Once ShadowBringers drops Eureka is pretty much going to be dead.

Any mob level 30+ in Pagos and lvl 45+ in Pyros needs to give some form of light. Even Feeble. This will help soloing and provide some sort of constant progress.

Pagos: They need to drop the light requirement from 31 to 16. 1 bar for the first upgrade, 5 for the next and 10 for the final.

Pyros: Need to lower the crystal requirement from 650 to 400-500.

Hydatos: Need to severely increase the crystal drop rate. Getting an average of 6 crystals per NM is terrible when you need 350.

Add light or crystals to the challenge logs

Give 1 crystal per normal box opening, 2 per cold/hot box.

This is mostly because of how sync'd gear ignores Materia. Which ends up tossing a ton of your stats out of the window when you basically lose all your Materia (Ironically, when you get literally thousands of Grade VI Materia thrown at you via the boxes from FATEs...)

It also has the secondary effect of making your work actually pay off in the content. As opposed to the only thing mattering being your level and being item level 300 and item level 405 has no difference in any area of the current Eureka. Which does not feel rewarding at all (Especially when one of the primary reasons to be in the content, is to farm out the gear upgrades...)

At the moment, gear is only relevant when you hit Hydatos and thus start getting the Elemental Bonuses, which makes it completely pointless in the beginning 3/4 of the entire content...
My biggest issue. You're rewarded with gear that is useless for the content you're playing.

Have you actually joined a Fate train? Tanks tanking? Dealing with adds? What is this madness you speak of?
NMs are just burned, adds ignored the people they kill raised at some point.

Doesn't help that people always seem to manage training mobs from halfway across the zone somehow.

This is so accurate it hurts. Honestly when I go into Eureka I'm always trying to make sure I help out with the FATE train, since I don't want to be one of The Dreaded AFKers, but the hardest part is usually getting any kind of attack off on a mob because they die so fast. And like you said if I'm going to try and spawn something on my own, I run the risk of missing a FATE when it spawns back at the train. It's not really worth it.

If you want people not to sit around AFK while others work, you need to fix one of these. Fixing the first one isn't possibly unless you make it so kills aren't required at all... but that just makes EVERYONE AFK until the next pop, not just most people. #2 could be fixed by adding easier ways to get to a FATE location once it's popped (Say, a consumable like the Eurekan potion to return to base camp and a more robust aetheryte network) or giving some alert that an NM will pop soon or making it invulnerable for a couple minutes when popped.
Also, people are discouraged from popping other NM's when there are so many "on CD". That needs to change. A 2 hour CD goes against the ethos of the zone where NM's are supposed to be actively popping as they're the only source of crystals.

What are we supposed to do when nothing is up? Other than attempt to go to another instance.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
