    Being sensible and respectable to a labor intensive effort is not being a "White Knight." Bravo for you pointing it out.

    To Laf: I had to point this out to my 12 year old son the other day, (you are probably less mature) the "original" FFXIV was a product that took five years to get to us and it had very little content. In less than a year, in months these people have programmed and coded some amazing new content. Lighten up, douche

    It's difficult if you are making first dungeon for your new game. Not, if you have premade tools and some assets, even less if you have just to reuse all of your assets.

    AI is already created, reuse it or modify(applies only to final boss) and reuse. Indeed, creating tons of new mobs is time consuming, but we are talking about a few. They could've just modified them, but they didn't even bother to recolor them.

    Most of the new crafting items are old/recolor items with new recipe and/or name. Nothing surprising about chimera:
    a)we knew about dungeon ways back
    b)old high rank dungeon have 1 unique boss

    Maybe I'm jumping the gun here, but it was my impression that most people didn't like the timed aspect of the previous dungeons. I sure hope they reduced the amount of regular monsters they placed throughout the dungeon because I don't plan on participating in the trainfest that was Darkhold again.

    I'm pefectly fine with instances being timed, the way darkhold was done was just poor design since there was no need or reason to kill most any mob besides the bosses.
    They could either make mobs in dungeons not leesh (like for example WoW does with trash mobs in instances) and/or have certain parts of dungeon require mobs to defeated to enter (like the gates in strongholds).

    Don't be too surprised if the new instances until 2.0 follow the exact Darkhold/totorak formula however.

    At 0:41 the Mnk is under Hundred Fists, the skill last 15 secs for 15 min recast.

    Skill bar 1, skill 7 is Sap (or a completly new skill which would mean Sap has been deleted => seems unlikely)
    Skill bar 2, skill 5 is Dragon Kick
    Skill bar 3, skill 6 is Hundred Fists
    Skill bar 3, skill 7 is Kick
    Skill bar 3, skill 10 is Fists of Wind

    Hrmm, Sap is what he uses when he dashes in. That seems quite contrary to the description. They must've changed it.

    We're all assuming the monk dashed in and that it wasn't the mob drawing him in which could be a possibility. Looked more like camera position or something changing as he moved in normally to me though.

    So just before the "dash" he would position himself a certain distance EACH time knowing he would get "pulled" to the mob?

    While that may be possible it seems very far stretched to be taken seriously.

    Also notice the purple circle in the middle of the mob. He selects the mob just before he dashes off to it. That's some pretty good timing to do that each time if he is in fact getting pulled. Yoshi-P should also smack the DEV that played a MNK and did it with such precision to give the illusion of such a cool ability.
