boosted toon can't summon chocobo

I have a 70 and so i made a new one and boosted it with both level and msqs. I can summon my Chocobo to ride. But i can't summon him i went to tranquil no quest went to bentbranch no quest. went to grand company and no quest to get him. I don't know what i'm supposed to do. Please someone help.. cause customer service is lacking.

The quest chain for My Feisty Chocobo starts in your city state, in other words, you need to make sure you talk to the NPC that starts the quest to get a Chocobo mount

EDIT: Boosting gives you the mount, but it doesn't mark the quest to get it completed, so you have to do the Chocobo chain from the beginning (just some walking and talking) and of course, make sure you have already done the GC quests that would lead to the Chocobo mount quest being unlocked.

The My Little Chocobo sidequest (the one that normally unlocks mounts and gives you your chocobo if it's not gotten from the MSQ skip) is unlocked when you complete the MSQ that has you join a Grand Company. The unlocking one (either For Coin And Country, Wood's Will be Done, or Til Sea Swallows All, depending on the GC) being a MSQ should mean that the MSQ skip potion would mark it as complete. My Little Chocobo itself being a sidequest is presumably why it doesn't get marked as completed, despite its rewards being provided.
