Just to clarify as I didn't quite get your wording, only certain jobs share some of the sets, so Healers, Casters and Ranged DPS are easiest to save up for. All the melee and tanks have their own unique sets that cannot be worn by other jobs in the same category so those ones take a little longer to compete.

*Didn't include SAM and RDM as they were added after SB, but obviously they can share MNK and caster gear.

Edit: No the tanks don't, but the ones listed before do. Thank you Kurando for pointing that out for me, hadn't done it in so long I had forgotten. Only the belt/accessories seem to be shared for tanks

I don't want "everything" though, and I'm not going to do PVP day after day to earn enough wolf marks for something I don't even want.

I will be playing the bare minimum to purchase the dyeable items I want, and that's enough for me.

Well in this case just everything you want to get. It'll be very easy with just the bare minimum if you're willing to wait a few days or so. It's why I'm so sure they won't ever drop the price on the items.
