    Make it rain Event?

    Good day all,

I was unable to play last two times this event was up. Will they be doing it again in June for 2019? Missed out some very cool stuff and looking forward to it!

Yes, they will likely do it around the time the FFXV event ends. Any previous items will be on the mog station though.

Will also be a good opportunity for PVP-allergic people like me to pick up the Garo gear, since the usual Gold Saucer glamour items go on sale during the event. At least they did last year - 30% off if I remember correctly, and the Garo stuff isn't cheap (if you're panic-buying all of it).

Unlucky the Garo gear in the Golden Saucer is not dye-able.

True, but that just means I need to be selective about what I buy.

There are some pieces that I definitely want the dyeable versions, and will have to stumble through PVP for wolf marks (and cross fingers very hard for a price drop in 5.0), but some of them are fine as-is, and I'll be getting the GS versions of those - like the invisible shield and the monk weapon-gloves that I probably wouldn't dye anyway.

If you get the achievement for the class with all the items you need from it, you can re-buy the items again with gil if you ever need to toss them out. And I'd bet all my gil in game they won't change the pricing of the items. They've been out for years basically, so they won't cater to the latecomers. Only difference is the Saucer ones are lv1 and non dyeable

    Gear Slot Wolf marks
    Weapon- 4,000
    Head -2,000
    Chest -4,000
    Hands - 2,000
    Legs - 4,000
    Feet - 2,000

It's 18k wolf marks for one set for the achievement. If you do the roulette each day, that would be about 9 days for one full set from only doing roulettes, and since the set can be used on multiple classes (Tanks/Healers/Mage DPS), you can get multiple achievements for it if you wanted to. Meaning if you literally did the bare minimum, you could get multiple sets, if not most, from the shop before early access starts for 5.0. Then there's during 5.0 when people will be using the PvP roulette stuff for bonus EXP, so it'd be pretty easy to get everything.

Just to clarify as I didn't quite get your wording, only certain jobs share some of the sets, so Healers, Casters and Ranged DPS are easiest to save up for. All the melee and tanks have their own unique sets that cannot be worn by other jobs in the same category so those ones take a little longer to compete.

*Didn't include SAM and RDM as they were added after SB, but obviously they can share MNK and caster gear.

Edit: No the tanks don't, but the ones listed before do. Thank you Kurando for pointing that out for me, hadn't done it in so long I had forgotten. Only the belt/accessories seem to be shared for tanks

Well in this case just everything you want to get. It'll be very easy with just the bare minimum if you're willing to wait a few days or so. It's why I'm so sure they won't ever drop the price on the items.
