We are not talking MSR we are talking Mentor Roulette, where there is a whole lot more than a 50/50 shot of getting something you don't want to do. It's more like a 1 in a 100. And again if you get multiple ppl there that don't want to be...While I agree that yes you shouldn't be forced to do something you don't want to do, if you aren't willing to roll with the punches of what you get, you shouldn't be queueing in the first place IMO. I didn't exactly want to get The Praetorium in the Main Scenario Roulette I queued for (to help queue times for my friends who were DPS who wanted to do it), I just accepted it and carried on and tried to make the best of it. I get it, we all have duties we don't like. But if we queue for the roulette, we accept the risk of getting them. Like there's certain levelling duties I get where I'm like "oh FFS why THIS!?" but I just accept it and carry on. And I usually play tanks/healers so much lesser queue times. Which is why I think the punishment needs to be made harsher (perhaps it could be adjusted a little dependent on how long you spent in the queue? Thus meaning the 30+ min a DPS spends in queue, is somewhat offset by a reduction in the penalty?)

I'm aware we're talking mentor roulette here, I was just using my experience today in MSR to help me explain my point. And if the people there don't want to be there and would rather escape than accept that duty, IMO why did they queue for the roulette in the first place? That is a point I'm afraid I will not budge on. As I mentioned in a previous post which you even said is true, you agreed to the roll of the dice including unfavourable results, when you agreed to queue for roulette. Otherwise, if people shouldn't be forced to be there for getting a duty they don't want, why have a penalty in the first place IMO? The idea is to make you not want to leave, yet in the cases of Prae/CM (which are in mentor roulette), people would rather take the penalty than run through it because the penalty for leaving is lesser than for staying? That is where I see the disconnect and why the penalty needs making harsher. That shouldn't be the case. Although I suppose, it could be applied to all duties.
White Mage ~ Scholar ~ PaladinBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
