    MSQ is what makes FF unique. If people dont want that, there are plenty of other games that offer what you want.

    Plenty of games have a solid story, but they don't ham-fist it down your throat.

    As I mentioned in the other thread, I prefer how XI handles their story lines, but I can appreciate the fact that disconnected stories wouldn't work in XIV. With that said, I'm sure there is some happy medium that could be met.
