I beg to differ as this one is not against MSQ contrary the other one.The point you are obviously missing is that there is already a big thread right now about the MSQ.
This is no different from when the people were creating multiple threads about male viera when one big one already exists.
Keep it in one thread and stop spreading it around.
Don't worry friend. The MSQ will always be a HUGE part of this game. This is a FINAL FANTASY game first and foremost. Let this guy cry as much as he wants. Its all he does in every thread.

All of which have been negative, I wanted to communicate a positive MSQ message to the dev team, and judging by the upvotes compared to the negative thread it seems the most people on the forums like how the MSQ is done and want to communicate that to the devs.

Nah see saying the new player experience sucks is melodrama, I was a new player when Heavensward came out and I loved going through MSQ. I run an FC which has had many people who are new to the game join and most of them have loved going through the MSQ as well. Most of the threads here are overly negative almost to the point of hyperbole, I post a positive thread about something I enjoy in the game and ask the dev team not to change how it’s done and suddenly I’m the one being melodramatic?

Yes, because, as to your point, most people here LIKE how the game is, as you pointed out with your guild. Why should you be worried about an apparent minority who wants to "ruin" your experience?Nah see saying the new player experience sucks is melodrama, I was a new player when Heavensward came out and I loved going through MSQ. Keep the MSQ and duties attached. Hard core raiders are pretty few compared to the rest of the population and Hardcore raiders are the ones who pump through content the fastest and then complain there is nothing to do. They ditch the game till the next content drop. It's not really reflective of the majority of what the playerbase wants. They are just the loudest. Don't pander to Fair weather players
That's how we lose its identity.

I'd imagine this is part of the reason they are implementing the new game plus feature. In the past week I've had over half my previous WoW raiding guild that i was in join the game, I gifted the ARR story skip to a friend because we all want to raid together in ShB and they honestly didn't want to deal with the 100+ MSQ quests post-50 and because she wanted to catch up with her husband that's working on Heavensward content. She can always go back and replay parts of the MSQ story that she skipped with the new game plus feature in Shb.
I don't think they are ever going to remove the MSQ requirement to progress in the game, nor should they. There's people out there who honestly just want the raiding aspect of the MMO and don't care about the story and that's what the skip books are for. I think with new game plus implemented everything will even out with giving the players the option of how they want to play the game and more options is always a healthy solution when it comes to a MMO.
And that's why there is so much prob out there. "There's people out there who honestly just want the raiding" but this game is not for that, the comu already hate the skip books .I don't rly care about ppl who just want the end game content but the fact they want too change the game is not welcolme by most. FF14 work with MSQ gate since is released ppl come and stay with this systeme and like it.
