    Help: The loby server connection has a error 2002

    Alright so i have been having this issue for about 5 days so far and there hasent been much of a change since then. I was in the middle of a dungeon when i got disconnected all of a sudden, i didnt think much of it at the time and just logged myself back in again. However here's the part where everything starts to get a little bit troublesome. I pressed the start on the menu and i was given a option to pick which data server i wanted to play on. I just choose the data server i would usually play on, however when i confirmed my choice it took me back to the starting menu where it then began to have this error: "The loby server connection has a error 2002".

    I have tried almost everything, i have talked to the squere enix support center and so far nothing has helped. I was told my internet connection might be the cause but that dosent seem to be it either because my friend has no issue playing on their account on my connection. Not only that but from what my friends has told me i'm still very much active and stuck that one dungoen i got disconnected from. Does ANYONE know how to solve this problem and what should i do?

    Are you playing PC or PS4? Do you only get disconnected when choosing a specific data center?

    I'm playing on my PC and yes, i only get disconnected when choosing a data center. I have tried other data centers as well but i end up with the same result as well.

    Is the game allowed through the fire wall? If not, please make sure the game is allowed through the fire wall? Are you connected to the game through wifi or are you connected directly to the router?
