hairstyle previews

so we all know there's lots of different types to choose from and many more to come but unlike other games we can't preview them... i don't know if anyone's addressed this before but i think we need a demo feature in the aesthetician so that we can view hairstyles we haven't unlocked yet that maybe also has a bubble to tell a player where to get it?.

yeah sure people put up pics on the net but it doesn't show in our own character giving the person a chance to see if they like it on their character main or alt(s) which can be a problem. Many such hairs are locked behind duty's or vendors pvp, potd, HoH, gold saucer...and other quests or events etc. And as you all know this too is a problem since many you need to farm points or whichever to gain the items to unlock a hair some that are time consuming.

If we had the previews it would help players decide if they want to invest there gil or points to unlock them which i'm sure some have had it happen saving up to buy that hair only to be disappointed with it for their character myself included.

It might be cool, but I think this is something glam in general could benefit from too, since if you don't own an item you can't really try it on to see how it works with a glam set you're making, unless it's either sellable on the market board, or someone you know has it. It'd be nice to know if some random dungeon drop actually looks good dyed + on my character with other gear I'm checking out, without having to find someone with it or run the dungeon until I see it drop.

well i mean we do have the option to try on gear and dye it though it is a window you can adjust to certain sizes when we wanna view gear on mb or stuff other people have. But if were talking previews in the same format as the hairstyles in the aesthetician screen then yeah that might be something to try out.
