Some people in here act like wow doesnt have a story. Wow had lore for all the dungeons too. Only difference is you didnt need to go out and do all the out world quests to unlock the dungeon. If you cared about the story for them you could do the quests, if not you could do something else.

Every mmo I have played has been "story focused" in one way or another so I'm starting to wonder what people even mean by that. PSU, Blade and Soul, Revelation, PSO, WoW, and finally ff14 all have stories that are important to how the overworld worked. Some could be ignored(PSU and PSO kinda) some were needed to even move on(WOW,BnS,Revelation). At the same time after Mists I didnt need to run the entire Mist story to go into WoD areas as long as I was the right lvl. Why cant FF14 be like that?

I left WoW because I stopped having fun. Im here in ff14 because I am having fun. Why is it bad to want some of the things I did like in WoW in ff? Not like people are asking for the story to be gotten rid of, just optional for the old expacs. Wow had better pvp, transmog, addon support, and race design(fem hroth SE plz), but FF has better music, class design, dungeon difficulty, boss design, and a more interesting story. All IMO of course.
